Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be back on the cricket field with the new season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) getting underway soon. Dhoni will be back leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and he will once again be the key for the four-time champions. While the fans are never worried about Dhoni’s captaincy, his batting has been a matter of concern for the fans as well as the management.
The former India skipper also knows it very well and thus he is working hard on his batting. And as per the video shared by CSK on social media, their captain seems to have sorted out the issue as he is seen tonking sixes during the team’s practice session. Dhoni can be seen hitting the ball out of the park on back-to-back deliveries.

Notably, CSK will open their campaign against defending champion Gujarat Giants on 31st March. The four-time champions did not have the best of outings last season as they finished in the second last position. Therefore, they will be looking to turn it around and the yellow army will be hoping for their Thala to have a blast.
Meanwhile, Ben Stokes will play a key role for CSK and may very well succeed Dhoni as the captain.
