During the clash, Trent Rockets’ skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt narrowly escaped a dismissal, leaving fans and commentators shocked. On the 63rd ball of the Trent Rockets innings, Southern Brave pacer Lauren Bell bowled a slower ball targeting the middle and leg stump. Nat Sciver-Brunt becomes highest run scorer in The Hundred Women’s competition
Trent Rockets’ skipper Nat Sciver Brunt became the highest run-scorer in the history of the women’s competition. Brunt remained not out on 60 from 37 balls, surpassing Brave opener and England teammate Danni Wyatt’s overall score of 903 runs across all editions of The Hundred. Her score helped her side post a score of 155 with the loss of seven wickets against Southern Brave Women.
Lauren Cheatle got the second breakthrough for Southern Brave as she took down the wicket of Natasha Wraith for 12 runs. Grace Scrivens (36) and Nat came up with a partnership of 62 runs off 37 balls for third wicket.
