PM Modi didn’t bring India’s Champions Trophy win, I didn’t bring New Zealand’s Test wins in India: Christopher Luxon
Christopher Luxon also met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi a couple of days ago where both the leaders were engaged in wide-ranging talks focusing on strengthening the bilateral relationship between both nations. During their meet, Luxon also made a joke about avoiding mentioning cricket to prevent ‘diplomatic incident between India and New Zealand. He took examples of New Zealand’s 3-0 whitewash in Test series in India last year, followed by India’s recent Champions Trophy triumph where they defeated New Zealand in the final. After Luxon’s words, PM Modi also burst into laughter.
"I really appreciate that PM Modi didn't bring up New Zealand's Champions Trophy loss to India, and I didn't mention our Test victories in India. Let's keep it that way and avoid a diplomatic incident," Luxon jokingly said
