It is off season in tennis right now. As the players gear up for the 2023 season, some star players are currently in Dubai for the newly launched World Tennis League. The inaugural edition of the World Tennis League kick started on 19 December and will be played till the eve of Christmas at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.
The tournament will see seventeen players with the likes of Novak Djokovic, Bianca Andreescu, Nick Kyrgios, Iga Swiatek and more. The Serb who made his World Tennis League debut on Tuesday, lost the game 3-6, 4-6 to Alexander Zverev. This came after his Falcons’ teammate Aryna Sabalenka 0-6, 6-1, 10-6 to tie the scoreline.
The moment which grabbed the limelight was Djokovic and Sabalenka’s dance moves on Bollywood song ‘Nadiyon Paar”.

Novak Djokovic to face Nick Kyrgios next
The Serbian will play Nick Kyrgios next at the World Tennis League 2022. This match will be a rematch of Wimbledon 2022 final where the Aussie was defeated in a four-set thriller.
