The inaugural World Tennis League event will kick off in Dubai with megastars like Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek headlining the tournament. The World Tennis League is set to start on December 19 and will be played on the hard court. 


Along with Djokovic and Swiatek, Alexander Zverev and Nick Kyrgios in men’s singles and Simona Halep and the 2022 women’s Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, in women’s singles are the other big names in the World Tennis League.


The tournament has found a great place in the tennis calendar as most top players traditionally don’t compete in this period as it falls during the holidays.

The World Tennis League 2022 will be played from 19 until 24 December 2022.

The Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates will host the World Tennis League 2022.


What points system will be used in the World Tennis League 2022?

The matches in the World Tennis League will follow a two-set format in both singles and mixed doubles categories, with a 10-point tie-breaker deciding the winner of the final. 


What is the format for the World Tennis League 2022?

18 players were drawn into four teams (Falcons, Eagles, Kites, Hawks), and these teams will play each other in a round-robin format. The fixture will include one men’s singles match, one women’s singles match and a mixed doubles match. Following the round-robin phase, the top two teams will face off in the final on 24 December 2022
