In a fierce battle between Afghanistan and Pakistan in the Super Fours stage at the Asia Cup 2022, Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf bowled a 150 kmph delivery to Afghanistan all-rounder Rashid Khan and gave a competitive stare as the latter defended it well.

The victory of Afghanistan over Pakistan is not only important for the team itself but also for Team India, who have lost their two Super Fours fixture and require Pakistan to lose both the remaining games to qualify for Asia Cup 2022 finals.

In the 17th over, Rashid Khan came to bat at number eight after Haris Rauf dismissed  Ibrahim Zadran on the third ball of the over. Rashid faced a 150 kmph screamer from Rauf as his first delivery and the Afghanistan player comfortably defended the fast-paced delivery.

Afghanistan batters opened the game well but Pakistan bowlers removed both their openers in the powerplay and took charge of the game. At the end of the innings, Afghanistan were at 129 runs with a loss of six wickets.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan will next face India on Thursday at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
