The incident happened after Dre Greenlaw slammed the Eagles receiver DeVonta Smith to the turf with his team leading by 21-6, which led to him exchanging words with the 49ers linebacker while the rest of his teammates and support staff joined in.
As the matter was getting heated up, Dre Greenlaw took a swipe which made contact with the face of the Philadelphia Eagles’s head of security, identified on the live broadcast as Dom DiSandro. After the officials reviewed the entire sequence, they disqualified both men for the remainder of the game, which was won by the 49ers with the scoreline reading 42-19 against the Eagles.
