Delhi Capitals is locking horns with Punjab Kings in match 59 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). After winning the toss, David Warner-led Delhi Capitals invited Punjab Kings to bat first. While skipper Shikhar Dhawan continued his disappointing run in the tournament as he got out cheaply in the match, his opening partner Prabhsimran Singh went on to register his maiden ton in the cash-rich league.

The 22-year-old Prabhsimran Singh’s century came off 61 deliveries and the celebration thereafter was worth the wait. The young PBKS batter took a bow after his maiden hundred as players in the dugout ran to see the man celebrate.

It is to be noted that Prabhsimran becomes sixth youngest player to score a IPL hundred. While he scores his hundred aged 22 years and 276 days, Manish Pandey sits at the top as his maiden ton came when he was just 19 years and 253 days.
