Gujarat Titans all-rounder Rahul Tewatia produced a finish for the ages as he scored 2 sixes off the final ball of the final over to help his side register a win over Punjab Kings in dramatic style. While Gujarat would have needed 13 off 3 balls after David Miller hit the ball straight to the bowler Odean Smith, the West Indian pacer took a shy at the stumps at the non-striker's end which allowed an extra run and Tewatia to face the last 2 balls.

With 12 runs needed for victory, the left-handed batter smashed both of them for six, one went over the deep midwicket fence while the other went over deep long-on to send Gujarat players into ecstasy.

Have a look at Tewatia's two sixes in last two balls:

With this feat, Tewatia became only the second player after MS Dhoni to help his team win the match with 2 sixes when they needed 12 to win off 2. Notably, Dhoni had finished off the game in a similar style while playing for the Rising Pune Supergiants. Interestingly, even that had come against the Punjab franchise with Axar Patel being on the receiving end.

The innings has done no harm to Tewatia's growing reputation as a finisher after he famously hit five sixes off Sheldon Cottrell in the 19th over to help Rajasthan Royals chase down a target of over 200 against Punjab Kings at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in IPL 2020.
