On the fallout episode of WWE SmackDown after WrestleMania 41 last weekend, Randy Orton made a big statement by hitting an RKO on WWE Champion John Cena in front of thousands in attendance at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. After nailing Cena with the same finishing move on Raw earlier in the week, Orton did it once again on SmackDown, but this time, it happened after he got himself a WWE Championship match at Backlash PLE in his hometown of Saint Louis on May 10.
The main-event calibre segment between two of the greatest WWE superstars on SmackDown began with Randy Orton stating that John Cena should become a parent, which will turn him into a better human being, but it led to the WWE Champion shutting down his advice immediately. Following that, Orton talked about how Cena needed to go over his dead body to ruin pro-wrestling, which made him who he is today.
After John Cena reiterated how he plans to retire as the last real champion in the WWE, which will erase the legacy of three generations of Randy Orton’s family, in response, The Viper got angry, and wanted a title match immediately. Cena told him about doing the big money match in Orton’s home town of Saint Louis at WWE Backlash PLE before taking a cheap shot at him out of nowhere.

Moreover, on WWE SmackDown, the fans also got to see a hilarious backstage segment between WWE Champion John Cena and R-Truth, who considers the former as his childhood hero despite being a bit older than him.
