In a new behind-the-scenes video shared by the BCCI on its X official page, showed the team India heading to the photoshoot after the unveiling of new tri-color jersey for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025. Indian players received their T20I and ODI Team of the Year caps. Arshdeep Singh was presented with the ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year award. In a light-hearted video, skipper Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja were discussing in their car the number of ICC events they had attended. "Abhi hum ja rahe hai headshot photoshoot ke liye, very excited, acchi photo aaye, photogenic ekdum," Jadeja responded.
Rohit went back to the memory of the 15th ICC Media Day, talking about his part in T20 World Cups, ODI World Cups, and Champions Trophies. Later, he did some math about his nine T20 World Cup innings, three ODI World Cups, and the upcoming third Champions Trophy. "Ye 15th hai mera, 9 T20 World Cup, 3 ODI World Cup, 2 Champions Trophy, aur 2 World Test Championship bhi." He then jokingly added, "17 baar bulaya unlog ne ye sab karne."

Shubman Gill recalls his previous ICC media day events
In the video when Rohit Sharma shared his total counts, Jadeja mentioned that he played a similar number of games, except the T20 World Cup in 2007 and 2012. Meanwhile, Shubman Gill shared his number and stated that this is his third ICC Media Day event. Earlier he was part of the 2024 T20 World Cup, 2023 ODI World Cup, and the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.
During the photoshoot, players were signing bats. When Rishabh Pant was signing the bat, Arshdeep Singh mentioned, "The signatures are getting smaller since you are signing on each bat."
Team India has left for Dubai for the ICC Champions Trophy after whitewashing England for 3-0 in the ODI series. Skipper Rohit Sharma is included in all matches in Dubai as the team will not be travelling to Pakistan for security reasons.
India is drawn with Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, and only the top two sides from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
