The Shreyas Iyer-led Kolkata Knight Riders are riding high on confidence having won two matches on the trot in the IPL 2024. Before they take on Delhi Capitals in their next fixture at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam, the all-rounder duo of Andre Russell and Rinku Singh shared a light moment in a flight to Vizag.
The KKR star batters Andre Russell and Rinku Singh attempted a try at singing a Bollywood single, a popular number of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. In the video shared by KKR’s official handle, while Rinku Singh went for it first as he began “Lutt putt gaya…”, he then told to ask the West Indies international.
As the video progressed, Russell first said, “You don’t sing that song, it’s my song”, before humming some lines from it. It is to be noted that Russell nailed it to perfection, not missing a beat, leaving everyone and even the fans impressed. KKR also shared the video with the caption reading, “Who did it better - Dre or Rinku”.

Speaking of the Kolkata-based franchise, the Shreyas Iyer-led side sit at the second place in the IPL 2024 points table having won two games on the trot. While they beat Pat Cummins-led SunRisers Hyderabad by four runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, they then went onto beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by seven wickets in Bengaluru to become the first team to win an away match in the ongoing tournament.
