Indian Wicket-keeper batsman suffered an almost fatal car accident last year while traveling from Delhi to Roorkee and was expected to miss at least a year because of his injury. However, Pant is recovering better than expected as he was not required to undergo a second surgery. He has made another development as the player is now successfully climbing stairs without any support.

Pant was slated to captain the Delhi Capitals but missed out because of this injury. However, the franchise extended its complete support and the player even attended some games. They were quick to offer their motivation to the player with the comment, “Keep going, Rishabh.” along with a blue heart emoji. DC teammate Akshar Patel also commented on the video along with Mandeep Singh and women cricketer Harleen Deol.

In the video, the Indian wicketkeeper initially required support while climbing the stairs, however, in the latter part of the video, Pant climbed the stairs without any support. Pant captioned his social media post, "Not bad yaar Rishabh Simple things can be difficult sometimes."

Pant is currently in rehab at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and shared a compilation of his recovery. The explosive left-hander shared a heartfelt caption and admitted that simple things like these are proving difficult.

The Delhi Capitals star, who is one of the most explosive batsmen in world cricket, has been sorely missed by the Indian team and the Delhi Capitals. He was ruled out of the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held in India in October-November but his latest video suggests that he could return to action sooner than expected. It will be a huge boost for the Indian team as the replacement, KS Bharat has not performed as expected.
