Del hi Capitals skipper and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant pulled off a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss David Miller in the IPL. The 2022 winners of the IPL hosted Delhi Capitals in another clash of the IPL 2024 on April 17, Wednesday. The guests, desperate for a win, won the toss and let the hosts put runs on the board first. Gujarat, who seemed confident in the start, surrendered to Delhi’s lethal bowling order, and within no time, the entire batting unit of GT collapsed.
David Miller, who came to bat at fourth for the hosts, was hopeful of scoring a few runs. However, just before he could settle on the crease, Miller was shown way back to the hut just after an over. The South Africa international got caught out on the last ball of the fifth over, owing to Rishabh Pant’s heroics. The DC skipper pulled a stunning single-handed catch by diving to his left, forcing Miller to return to the pavilion after scoring just two runs, off Ishant Sharma’s delivery.

Delhi’s young skipper who returned to the field after missing a year of cricketing action was in his element during the game against Gujarat. Pant displayed brilliant wicketkeeping prowess on the Wednesday night match and with his quick reflexes, he dismissed Shahrukh Khan.
The 26-year-old pulled quick stumping to bring Khan’s innings to an end. Khan, who came in as Sai Sudharshan’s Impact substitute, walked back to the pavilion off a Tristan Stubbs’ delivery without scoring any run.
