The Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, who is gradually recovering from his injuries suffered in a harrowing accident over a year ago, was spotted batting in the nets, inching closer to making a comeback to cricket. He also shared an inspiring video of his road to recovery on Instagram, just a month before his potential IPL return for Delhi Capitals.

Rishabh Pant is currently in the final stages of his rehabilitation after undergoing multiple surgeries to his right leg, running without wearing a brace and doing it pain-free. It has allowed him to gradually start work on his batting in the nets at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.

In the latest video on his official Instagram account, Rishabh Pant was spotted utilising a walker in the early stages of his recovery, and a few months later, he made remarkable progress, skipping and jogging on his own. The 26-year-old captioned his post, “Seems like you forgot. Let me remind you… Remember when it was hard and it was overwhelming and you felt afraid and still walked alone? “You didn’t have the answers then and couldn’t see the way and wanted to give up? You still kept going. Never forget that. #RP17”.

Rishabh Pant’s journey to full fitness has been extraordinary in the last year, thanks to his immense grit and determination in adversity. Cricket fans from India and the world are clamouring to see him make his comeback to professional cricket at the earliest, which is why his potential return to the IPL with the Delhi Capitals could become one of the greatest moments.
