Riyan Parag is an entertaining character, both on and off the field. While he impresses everyone with his range of shots and celebrations on the field, Parag has a great social media presence off the field. He reacts to every happening around the globe. He also posts interesting videos where he is seen doing stuff other than cricket.

Parag is a really good dancer and people who have seen him performing the Assamese folk dance know it. The 20-year-old first brought his dancing talent to everyone's notice after his team's victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2020. After notching up a win for Rajasthan with six over covers, Parag celebrated with his unique dance moves.

People loved his celebration and since then Parag does it whenever he gets a chance. On the occasion of Bohag Bihu, (the famous Assamese festival celebrated in the month of April) Parag took out some time to teach his dance moves to Yuzvendra Chahal's wife Dhanashree Verma, who herself is a choreographer. Rajasthan Royals shared a video of Parag and Dhanashree performing the folk dance on their social media platforms.

Parag yet to go big in IPL

Although Riyan Parag made his debut in the Indian Premier League (IPL) three years ago, he is yet to perform to his potential. The right-handed batter has appeared in 34 matches so far where he has aggregated 364 runs at an average of 15.83. He has only one fifty-plus score so far. His best stint came in his first season where he scored 160 runs in 7 games at an average of 32.

In IPL 2022, Parag has scored 25 runs in 3 innings of four games. He has registered scores of 12 (9), 5 (4), and 8 (4) so far in this season. It can't be denied that he has not got enough exposure but on the limited opportunities he has got, Parag has failed to capitalize. Thursday evening will be another chance for him to make it count when Rajasthan take on Gujarat at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
