The moment happened in the final session when England began a daunting run chase of 399 runs in Visakhapatnam to go 2-0 up in the five-match series.

At the Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, when Jasprit Bumrah went past the bat of Zak Crawley in England’s second innings, the Indian players appealed in unison to the on-field umpire. The Indian captain vehemently denied the request of Kuldeep Yadav for DRS, and the replays on the giant screen inside the stadium showed that the English opening batter didn’t nick the ball. It led to Rohit Sharma hilariously clapping and giving a thumbs up to his left-arm unorthodox spinner, smiling away after not wasting a review due to him.

In defence of the 399-run total, the Indian bowlers had to work hard in the early stages of England’s second innings in the final session of Day 3. Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley stitched together yet another fifty-run stand for the first wicket to give England a good start in their record run chase in India.

But just a couple of balls later, Ravichandran Ashwin got India their first breakthrough in Ben Duckett. The left-handed batter was prodding on the front foot to defend a good length ball, but he could only balloon it off the inside edge onto the pads towards the leg side before KS Bharat put in a full-length dive to complete a quality catch.
