On Saturday, February 15, Rohit Sharma-led Team India left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) ahead of the highly-anticpated ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. With the tournament scheduled to begin from February 19 in Pakistan, India will play all its matches in Dubai, starting from February 20.

Ahead of the marquee tournament, the initial contingent of the Indian cricketers and support personnel gathered at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai as they were readying for departure to Dubai.

Star Indian players including skipper Rohit Sharma, batting stalwart Virat Kohli, veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul were spotted at the airport. The group also comprised of Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel, alongside pacers Harshit rana and Arshdeep Singh.

The players were also joined by Gautam Gambhir-led coaching staff, including fielding specialist T Dilip, Morne Morkel, Ryan ten Doeschate.

Speaking of the Indian team, they are placed in Group A, alongside hosts and arch-rivals Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh. The Men in Blue will kickstart their Champions Trophy 2025 campaign against Bangladesh on february 20 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, followd by a clash each against Pakistan and New Zealand on february 23 and March 2 respectively.
