Footballing greats Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi had contrasting reactions as Al-Nassr defender Aymeric Laporte scored a 70m screamer from his half in a 6-0 win over Inter Miami. In a contest called the Last Dance, where Ronaldo and  Messi were set to go head-to-head in a clash of legends, but both players weren't fully fit.

The Portuguese forward was out of Al-Nassr's game-day squad, after picking up an injury in training, while Messi also had some fitness issues as he came off the bench in the 83rd minute. Coming back to the game, the Saudi Pro League side scored two goals in 10 minutes, thanks to early strikes by Octavio and Talisca. Then, in the 12th minute, Al-Nassr won a freekick in their half that Aymeric Laporte launched to score a magical long-range goal.

As the ball went into the back of the Inter Miami, Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo was up and about joyously celebrating the goal alongside MMA and boxing star Francis Ngannou. On the contrary, sitting in the Inter Miami dugout, Lionel Messi was completely distraught as his team was languishing after conceding three goals in under 15 minutes.

After  Aymeric Laporte's magic strike, Al-Nassr continued their scoring spree in the second half. In the 51st minute, Talisca doubled his tally after converting a penalty as Inter Miami keeper tripped  Mohammed Maran. The fouled Al-Nassr forward also found the back of the net 17 minutes later before  Talisca completed an incredible hattrick in the  75th minute to seal a dominant 6-0 win.
