Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid finally revealed what he writes in his notebook while sitting at a dugout during the match. In the ongoing season of IPL 2025, Dravid has often been seen writing something on paper throughout RR's matches this year. With this, Dravid also left the fans puzzled thinking what he often writes during the game. Now, the former India head coach revealed that he has a particular way of scoring a game which helps him to understand and analyse the game better.
"I have a particular way of scoring a game, both the T20 and ODI game, I have a particular way of scoring it, which actually helps me review the game. Honestly, it's nothing complex, it's not rocket science, I am not writing something great. It's as boring or dumb as you can say of just scoring the game in a particular format that makes it easier for me to look back on,” Dravid revealed in his conversation with Star Sports.
"I can look at the scorecard but I just score it in a particular way that I find it very comfortable, easy to be able to review it without looking at the scorecard. Sometimes you sit back in the room at the end of a game and review a game and you want to think what happened in that over or in that particular phase of the game and I have a particular format of scoring it, slightly different to reading it from a normal scorecard,” RR head coach further added.
RR will look to end their IPL 2025 campaign on a winning note
Rajasthan Royals are set to play their last game of IPL 2025 as they will take on Chennai Super Kings in match number 62 of the season at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on May 20. RR were one of the earliest teams to get knocked out of the playoffs and had a disappointing season where they could only win three matches and ended up losing 10 matches.
Now, playing their last match of the season, RR will be looking to end their disappointing campaign on a winning note and avoid last place finish. They are currently at the ninth spot in the points table with three wins and 10 losses in 13 matches played so far.
