The high-intensity IPL auctions brought smiles to many faces, and few even got more than what was expected. But, some players were out of consideration from any of the franchises. S Sreesanth was one such name that no one even called asked for in the two-day mega event, making it clear that Kerala Express could not attract any consideration from ten franchises.

However, Sreesanth, who has been on a topsy turvy ride for the last few years is far from giving up, and his post-IPL auction tweet won many hearts. Taking to Twitter, Sreeshant posted a heartfelt video singing an inspirational Kishore Kumar song from the movie Imtihan. Sreesanth was heard singing: "Ruk jana nahin tu kahin haar ke" which roughly translates to "never stop the pursuit of your dreams."

Undoubtedly, the man does not have the word 'give up' in his dictionary, which could be one reason he still has an immense fan following on social media. His post immediately received a lot of responses from his fans. Few even expressed that they would miss him in IPL but congratulated him for having 'never die spirit.'

Speaking of Ranji Trophy

Notably, India's premium domestic tournament is making a return after a year's gap because of the Covid-19 situation in the country over the past two years. The contest is slated to occur in two phases, pre & post-IPL. The tournament's first phase will begin from 17th February till 15th March 2022, and the knockout stage will take place from 30th May to 26th June 2022.
