Former Indian cricketer and one of the greats of the game, Sachin Tendulkar has been active across social media, ever since his retirement. However, the cricketer recently took a trip of Kashmir and took to social media to share the snippets from his trip to the northern state.
In one of his videos, which is now going viral, the ‘God of Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar met a d ifferently-abled cricketer named Amir Hussain. The legendary cricketer also gave a special gift to Amir, leaving the physically handicapped player teary-eyed. Tendulkar even shared this moment on his social media with caption reading, “To Amir, the real hero. Keep inspiring! It was a pleasure meeting you”.
Elaborating the video, the former cricketer met Amir and hugged him. As the clip progresses, Amir shares life story and also reveals that the great of the game is his inspiration. In the same video, Sachin also mentioned a tweet that he posted about the differently-abled cricketer in January.
The tweet accompanied with the video from ANI read, “And Amir has made the impossible possible. I am so touched watching this! Shows how much love and dedication he has for the game. Hope I get to meet him one day and get a jersey with his name. Well done for inspiring millions who are passionate about playing the sport.”
