The preparations are in full swing ahead of the third edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) in 2025. Recently, the inaugural champions of the tournament Mumbai Indians (MI) also shared a video from their practice session where allrounder Sanjeevan Sajana showcased her fielding skills with a stunning diving catch. With her brilliant effort during the practice session, Sajana also left MI skipper Harmanpreet Kaur in disbelief which can be seen in a viral video.
In a video posted by MI on their social media, Harmanpreet Kaur can be looking at the ball in the air during the practice. After a few seconds, Sanjeevan Sajana entered the frame out of nowhere and ended up completing a spectacular catch which also left Harmanpreet impressed. After that, Harmanpreet ran towards Sajana to congratulate her for her brilliant fielding effort.

Sajeevan Sajana to play crucial role for MI in WPL 2025?
Sajeevan Sajana can turn out to be a crucial player for MI as they aim to win their second title in WPL 2025. Talking about her performance in the last edition, Sajana scored 87 runs form six matches in WPL 2024 with an impressive strike rate of 158.18. However, she didn’t have great number while playing for India as she has amassed 41 runs in 14 T20I matches so far.
Talking about the Mumbai Indians, they emerged victorious in the inaugural season of the WPL in 2023, defeating Delhi Capitals in the final. They also finished second in the points table in WPL 2024 but failed to make it to the final after losing the Eliminator against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. MI will kickstart their WPL 2025 campaign with a match against Delhi Capitals in Vadodara on February 15.
