Reacting to this stellar bowling effort and the series win, the Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur praised her bowlers throughout the series. She also heaped compliments on the team’s younger players, who took responsibility in tough moments. She said, “It is a part of the game, sometimes your plan does not work but in the second innings, we showed our character.”
“Got to give credit to all our bowlers, they were bowling under pressure but they did well and also the fielders. In this series, we have a couple of young bowlers who are gonna take the responsibility and it's important to show trust in them. We are not gonna hide them on the field. All of them took responsibility and did well,” she continued.
