On the back of a magical new ball spell by Trent Boult and Nandre Burger before Yuzvendra Chahal also chipped in with the crucial wicket of Hardik Pandya.
To hold away the flow of wickets, Mumbai Indians promoted Piyush Chawla up the order, who pushed away the spinners for a few singles. Then taking on Avesh Khan, Chawla attempted to cut away a short-of-a-length delivery outside off.

Facing his first ball of the match, Rohit Sharma saw a short of good length delivery which moved away and took a thick outside edge. As the ball moved towards the slips, Sanju Samson put in a full-length dive to complete a stunning one-handed catch to dismiss Rohit.
