A video has gone viral on social media platform X, where a young pacer had an uncanny resemblance with Shoaib Akhtar, the Rawalpindi Express and the fastest bowler in the world from Pakistan. The cricket fans on the internet called Imran Muhammad as the doppelganger of Shoaib Akhtar, who was seemingly replicating the action of Pakistan legend with his long hair fluttering in the air during the Oman D10 League match between IAS Invincibles and Yallah Shabab Giants.
Notably, Imran Muhammad is a 30-year-old cricketer, who hails from Dera Ismail Khan district in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. According to a report in the Times of India, he had left his village at 18 years of age to arrive and live in Muscat, Oman, where he makes a living as an CCTV cameras installation personnel apart from playing franchise league cricket.

It led to cricket fans coming on glued in the comments and quotes section, giving their unfiltered views about how similar or different Imran Muhammad is in comparison with Shoaib Akhtar.
Moreover, during his illustrious career, Shoaib Akhtar played 46 Tests (178 wickets), 163 ODIs (247 wickets), and 15 T20Is (19 wickets) before retiring from international cricket due to knee injury in 2011.
