In the opening match of WWE Crown Jewel, Solo Sikoa pinned Roman Reigns after hitting multiple Samoan Spikes on him in the battle of the Bloodline at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The self-proclaimed Tribal Chief of the Bloodline, Solo Sikoa, was too much to handle on the night for the Original Tribal Chief (OTC), Roman Reigns, who was heading the OG Bloodline in a six-man tag team match.

Solo Sikoa teamed up with “Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga to take on Roman Reigns, “Big Jim” Jimmy Uso, and “Main Event” Jey Uso in front of thousands of rabid fans in attendance in Riyadh. In the early exchanges of the match, Reigns and Jey weren’t quite on the same page, with the latter wanting his team to behave like equals, and it led to Jimmy getting stranded and beaten up in a corner of the Bloodline before he managed to recover, to tag himself out of harm’s way.

Solo Sikoa pins Roman Reigns for first-time in his WWE career

As the battle started to reach its fever pitch, Jey Uso tagged in Roman Reigns into the match, who started to take down Solo Sikoa on his own after exchanging heavy artillery in the middle of the ring. But just as Reigns wanted to deliver the Spear on Sikoa, the latter countered it into a Samoan Spike, which led to Jimmy Uso saving the match for his team at just about the last second before the situation completely broke down inside and outside the ring.

The referee Ryan Tran was neutralised for the time being after Roman Reigns threw Tonga Loa into him before the numbers game caught up to the OTC. Solo Sikoa ultimately picked him up, to deliver two devastating Samoan Spikes one after another, to pin Roman Reigns in the middle of the ring, which earned him the biggest win of his WWE career.

After the match was over, the Bloodline took down the OG Bloodline with a man advantage in their favour before Sami Zayn showed up to a thunderous response from the fans at the Mohammed Abdo Arena. Sikoa invited Zayn for a hug but got an Exploder Suplex for his troubles before the OG Bloodline circled the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief in the middle of the ring.

Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns charged Solo Sikoa at the same time, who ducked underneath as Zayn inadvertently landed a Helluva Kick on Reings, to close out the segment amidst a lot of confusion among all the OG Bloodline members.
