Royal Challengers Bangalore star  Virat Kohli and  Delhi Capitals director of cricket  Sourav Ganguly were seemingly seen ignoring each other as both teams were shaking hands after their IPL 2023 fixture.  Kohli started for RCB as he scored a stunning half-century in 34 balls. On the back of this knock, the Royal Challengers managed to post a 174-run total and then win the game by a 23-run margin.

After the game, both teams came together for the customary handshakes when Virat Kohli and his teammates interacted with the Delhi Capitals’ players. As Kohli neared Ganguly, he had a small conversation with DC head coach Ricky Ponting and in the process missed the handshake with Sourav Ganguly.

This also was Kohli’s third half-century in four games for Bangalore as he so far amassed 214 runs at an average of 71.33. With this total, he also became the third-highest runscorer in the tournament behind David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan.

Addressing this incident, fans once social media were also left wondering whether there is a rift between the two individuals. While some were blaming one of Kohli or Ganguly for ignoring the other.
