Former South Africa spinner Thandi Tshabalala apologised to the spectators in Vadodara after dismissing Sachin Tendulkar during the game between India Masters versus South Africa Masters in International Masters League 2025. After winning the toss, India Masters skipper Tendulkar invited the Protea Masters side to bat first. Rahul Sharma and Yuvraj Singh looked extraordinary with the ball and picked up three wickets respectively. Except for opener Henry Davids and wicket-keeper Dane Vilas, no batter looked decent which led to South Africa’s collapse at a score of 85 in 13.5 overs.
in pursuit of the low target, India Masters lost their captain Sachin early in the third over of the innings. Tshabalala, who was bowling the second over of his spell, took a straight catch on his own delivery and concluded the Master Blaster’s innings at his score of six off eight. A few moments later after the dismissal, the South African was seen apologising to the crowd for picking up the wicket of India's legendary batter.
