The Golden State Warriors point guard, Stephen Curry managed to keep his dribble alive in an offbeat manner against the Denver Nuggets during their enthralling clash in the NBA on Thursday, January 4. But, despite his best efforts, the Warriors lost to the Nuggets by 130-127 at the Chase Center with a deep buzzer-beater from Nikola Jokic.

The defending NBA champions Denver Nuggets were in a keenly contested battle during the first half of the contest against the Golden State Warriors, but they managed to secure a seven-point lead with the score reading 70-63 in their favor. The third quarter saw the Warriors pull away into a massive lead of 13 points after Brandin Podziemski hit three corner three-pointers, while Steph Curry was on song as well.

Nikola Jokic buries buzzer-beater three
During the fourth quarter, the Denver Nuggets were down by 18 points, but then the trio of Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordan, and Jamal Murray, got their act together to bring the team back into the contest. At the very end, it was the 39-foot buzzer-beater from Jokic after a Curry turnover, which led to the Nuggets extending their regular season winning streak to six games against the Warriors.
Nikola Jokic put together a stunning performance on the night, putting together 34 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds. Moreover, Steph Curry got his 277th career 30-point game against the Nuggets to overtake Alex English into 18th position for the most 30-point games in the history of the NBA.
