The NBA preseason 2022 is underway as defending champions Golden State Warriors opened their campaign with a 96-87 victory over Washington Wizards on Friday night. After the game, Dubs point guard Stephen Curry met celebrities like US tennis star Frances Tiafoe and popular Korean boy-band BTS' Suga.

The reigning NBA MVP, Curry scored six points including a three-pointer in his almost 14 minutes of appearance in the game as Warriors beat Wizards at the Saitama Super Arena.

After the game, Suga, whose real name is Min Yoon-gi, met GSW star Steph Curry and also received a special gift from the all-time leading three-point shooter. Curry presented his shoes and thanked the popstar for attending the game in Japan.

Before GSW's preseason game, Suga met many NBA stars including Klay Thompson and Steph Curry. While Suga had a gratifying chat with Klay Thompson, he exchanged gifts with Steph Curry. The NBA Philippines took to their Twitter handle to post a picture of Suga and Thompson smiling and captioned, " @KlayThompson  having a nice chat with SUGA of  @BTS_twt  ! 😄 What do you think made him smile? "

Suga presented Curry a box of BTS’ last album release, Proof while the NBA superstar gifted an autographed GSW jersey to the BTS member. Curry went on to post pictures of his interaction with Suga and captioned, "An honor meeting you SUGA!! Welcome to #DubNation."

Before the release of Proof with his fellow BTS members, Suga was seen in Gangnam Style famed PSY's "That That" MV.

Apart from Suga, Steph Curry also met US Open 2022 semifinalist Frances Tiafoe after his side's victory against Wizards in Japan. Tiafoe called Curry the 'one of the coldest celebrities' and even hit Curry's popular 'Night, Night' celebration.
