The second ODI of the three-match series between India and Australia is underway in Vizag and it seems India are in here for big trouble with Australians wreaking havoc. Steve Smith won the toss and invited India to bat first and his bowlers responded to the captain’s call straightaway. Mitchell Starc was at it yet again as the left-arm pacer removed Shubman Gill in no time. Starc soon got rid of Rohit Sharma and then Suryakumar Yadav on two consecutive deliveries.

While KL Rahul and Virat Kohli tried to steady India’s ship, Starc struck again to send back last match’s hero Rahul. The left-arm pacer trapped Rahul LBW. With that wicket out came Hardik Pandya and played a confident shot straightaway. But Pandya was not ready for what was coming his way. As Sean Abbott came into the attack and bowled a short-of-length delivery, Pandya poked at it only to manage an outside edge.

The ball was flying past the slip fielder, Steve Smith and it seemed Pandya would survive. However, Smith had other plans. The Australia captain dived full length to his right and put out his right hand and plucked the ball out of thin air to stun everyone on the ground.
