In a shocking turn of events, Indian batter Virat Kohli was dismissed on the back of an incredible catch by Australia's Steven Smith off Scott Boland's bowling. Starting off Day 5 with 280 runs away from the World Test Championship title, Team India got off to a solid start.
After adding eight runs by the 47th over, India seemed to be gearing up towards the big chase when Australia went up for a DRS as Boland managed to get the ball just missing Kohli's outside edge. Then on the immediate next delivery, Boland's away swinger took the required edge before Steve Smith held on to a difficult catch. Then on the fifth ball of the over, Boland struck again and dismiss Ravindra Jadeja in a similar manner.
