In the latest baseball game, a fan displayed fine multitasking by catching the ball and feeding the baby in a simultaneous manner. It happened in the fixture between Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres on 27 April at Great American Ball Park, Cincinnati.

When coming to parents, they are surely quite good at multitasking, but this certainly was a whole new level, and he is being hailed as a ‘Dad of the Year’. The video has gone viral on social media platforms and amassed over a million views.

Watch the video:

“Holds the bottle, no spillage, baby in perfect bliss and a souvenir!” the broadcaster said on air.

The moment was captured during the top of the 5th innings when the ball flew towards the spectators and witnessed a man catching the ball while being seated. A report identified the catcher as Jacob Kingsley and was sitting with his wife Jordan and son Shepherd.

In an interview with Bally Sports in the arena, Kingsley said he just wanted to protect his child and thinks it will be a great memory to share with his child.

“Saw the ball pop up and just wanted to keep him happy and so did my best to protect him at the same time. This will be a great memory to share with him,” Jacob Kingsley said.

“Baby’s happy, I’m happy and I’m just impressed,” Jordan Kinglsey said.

The couple also added that it was their first baseball game and wanted the ball to come near them.

The Cincinnati Reds lost to the San Diego Padres, 9-6, and would look to better their performances in the next fixture.
