The second edition of the highly-anticipated World Championship of Legends (WCL) has finally reached its penultimate stage. In the summit clash, which is scheduled to be played on Saturday, August 2, top-two teams Pakistan Champions and South Africa will lock horns for the coveted title. While the Men in Green are coming into the final after topping the standings, winning four out of their five matches and one match ending in a no result, the Protea Champions finished second.
However, both the sides secured their semi-finals berth, the Pakistan Champions cruised into the final after India Champions withdrew from the game due to cross-border tensions, the AB de Villiers-led side defeated Australia Champions by one run to setup the title clash. However, India Champions had a forgettable season as they only won one match, but were forced to end their campaign after players withdrawal from playing against Pakistan.
Suresh Raina names ‘Chak de India’ as cricket based movie; gets trolled
While they ended their campaign in the semifinals, former India cricketer Suresh Raina hogged the limelight for a bizarre take. Speaking on the sidelines of the tournament in England, Raina participated in a rapid-fire round with one of the presentators, Aditi Budhathoki. The former middle-order batter was asked to name three movies based on cricket.
Although the 38-year began with ‘MS Dhoni’ and ‘Lagaan’, he went onto include ‘Chak De! India’. While the first two were the correct answers, but unknowing the former cricketer got trolled for naming ‘Chak De! India’ as it is based on hockey and not cricket. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer is a sports film based on Indian women’s hockey national team, directed by Shimit Amin and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films.

Raina got into the radar of the fans for naming the Indian sports film as they took no time to troll the former CSK batter. An Instagram user by the name of utkarsh.sawan commented, “Foreigner ko dekh chak de India bol diya”, meanwhile the other too were left in shock seeing Raina make this big blunder.
