Ahead of the do-or-die match for five-time champions, Mumbai Indians, Suryakumar Yadav pulled off an uphill task of bringing smile to Narine’s face after he imitated latter’s century celebration. It is to be noted that Sunil Narine scored his first-ever century in match against Rajasthan Royals (RR), which the hosts, KKR eventually lost by two wickets at the Eden Gardens. The 33-year-old Suryakumar Yadav could not contain himself and even shared this moment on his Instagram stories with the post reading, “I see you smile again Hahaha 😉😉😉”
Speaking about Narine, who has been in brilliant form off late, had pulled off a subtle reaction after reaching his maiden IPL hundred. The West Indies international is having a dream run for KKR at the ongoing IPL 2024. In his nine innings, the 35-year-old has amassed 372 runs at an average of 41.33 and strike rate of 182.35. While his highest score remains 109, which came against RR in Kolkata, he has scored two half-centuries also. Speaking about his bowling, Narine has scalped 11 wickets at an average of 22.45 and economy of 6.86.
