Suryakumar Yadav has been finally given the nod to participate in the ongoing Indian Premier League after completing his rehabilitation from sports hernia surgery. The seasoned batter was spotted traveling from Bengaluru airport to Mumbai with his wife Devisha, where some of the young fans caught him to click selfies and pictures.
As soon as he encountered the young boys, he obliged them to give their phones so that he could click photos with them. He quipped them by saying in his original tone, “Lao Phone do na, kaise loge photo.” The 33-year-old batter was looking in a hurry as he was accompanied by his wife Devisha to Mumbai.
Mumbai Indians batter, who missed the first three matches of the season due to non-clearance by NCA will finally join the camp after getting the nod from the VVS Laxman-led academy. Surya’s unavailability in the first three fixtures highly impacted Mumbai Indians' start to the season as they are yet to open their account in the points table, and currently are the only team this season who haven’t won a single game. Famously referred to as Indian “Mr. 360,” Suryakumar will participate in the net sessions with the Mumbai squad ahead of their game afternoon clash with Delhi Capitals, following which only his participation in the game will be decided.
