
Charaideo Sunrisers managed to put an end to their three-game losing skid, and record a seven-wicket win in the Assam Premier League 2026. The Sunrisers were up against the Jorhat Stallions in the 25th game of the tournament in Guwahati. Having asked to bat first, the Stallions could only manage to put 128 runs on the board with eight wickets lost. The Sunrisers bowlers delivered a remarkable performance, which not only restricted their counterparts at a below-par score but also helped them chase the win easily.
Reshab Dipak picked a total of four wickets to finish with figures of 4/18. He dismissed the rival skipper Swarupam Purkayastha at 28 runs off 24 deliveries before getting the rid of Rajveer Singh at 22. In addition, he forced Dyutimoy Nath to walk back at 19 and Abhilash Gogoi on a golden duck. Dipak was later named Player of the Match for his staggering bowling prowess, which played a key role in the Stallions’ collapse.

Apart from Dipak, the rest of the Sunrisers bowlers delivered a notable performance for their side. However, the only bowlers who remained winless were Amlanjyoti Das and Kalam Raiza. Apart from them, Abhishek Kumar Singh and Himanshu Saraswat picked one wicket each, while Dibakar Johri ended up with two wickets. In the batting department, their skipper Sumit Ghadigaonkar came up with a well-defined unbeaten fifty in 44 balls to take the side home.
He hit five boundaries and two maximums and remained till the end while players on the other end kept changing. Apart from him, Pradyun Saikia scored 25 runs in 20 deliveries with four boundaries whereas Hrishikesh Tamuli and Kalam Raiza added four and eight runs, respectively. Moreover, Reshab Dipak, after shining brightly in the first innings, added 34* runs in just 11 balls to end up as the star of the night.
