India are locking horns with Bangladesh in the first Test of the two-match series. With the absence of skipper Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul is leading the side at the helm for the first Test. The Men in Blue were invited to bat first after losing the toss and did not have a great start to the inning.
Yes. The Men in Blue were jolted with three quick wickets in the very first session with opener Shubman Gill going back to the pavilion after scoring 20 runs off 40 deliveries. Thereafter, stand-in skipper KL Rahul departed with a mere score of 22, followed by a wicket of batter Virat Kohli. Out of all these dismissals, it was a heartbreak for Indian fans after Kohli failed to go big and was dismissed on a mere score of 1.
In the 20th over of the first inning, Virat Kohli failed to collect the ball. With Taijul Islam on the other end, Virat tried to play a leg-side but the ball spun sharply from the middle and struck him on the back pad. Umpire Michael Gough was quick to raise the finger, whereas the Indian duo of Kohli and Pujara referred to the third umpire.

As the former skipper was dismissed after scoring a single run, Twitter users flooded the social media with mixed reactions. While mocked Kohli as he failed to score another century, a few others took to highlight his approach.
