The craze that the game of cricket has around the world is incredible, where the sport sees new achievements being created and destroyed daily. Owing to the popularity of the game, several T20 leagues have been introduced around the world. Also, those who know the sport would have an idea about maximum runs that can be scored in an over. While one might think of scoring as many as 37 runs in an over, it is next to impossible to smash 46 runs. But what if we tell you, it is possible, and the same has been achieved recently.
During a game between NCM Investments vs Tally CC in the KCC Friendi Mobile T20 Champions Trophy 2023, where the batters from NCM Investments smashed 46 runs in an over. The batters had some extras as credits but the over saw some huge sixes and steaky boundaries. It was in the 14th over of the NCM Investments, the combination of Diju Xavier and Vasudev Datla smashed an unbelievable score of 46 runs. Diju Xavier scored explosive runs, before he got out to Deepak Sharma’s delivery. On the flip side, Vasudev Datla scored his century and remained not out.

Notably, the 2023 edition of the KCC T20 Champions Trophy is underway as 15 teams are clashing against each other to lift the trophy. Speaking of the 13th match of the tournament, the NCM Investments won over Tally CC by a whopping 216-run margin. In the next game of the tournament, Ceylinco CC will take on Kuwait Swedish on May 3 at the Sulabiya Ground in Al Jahra.
