The ongoing NBA regular season saw another on-court brawl after the one between Donovan Mitchell and Dillon Brooks on Thursday night. During the match between Minnesota Timberwolves and Orlando Magic on Friday night, Orlando big man Bo Mamba and Minnesota guard Austin Rivers exchanged a few punches on the court in the third quarter.

However, in the post-match presser, Wolves’ guard Austin Rivers was seen in tears as he addressed the on-court brawl. “This isn’t a cool moment for me. I feel embarrassed…. If I throw a punch and land it the wrong way, I could break my hand and be out for the season… Go watch that video. I’ve never said nothing to him,” Austin said while speaking to the media.

The incident took place with one and a half minute remaining in the third quarter with Magic winning 83-73 at that time. The whole event started when Rivers and the Orlando Magic bench exchanged a few words after the guard missed a three-pointer earlier in the game. Tensions broke out with a timeout eventually being called in as other players also rushed in an got involved in the fight.

However, moments later referees eventually broke up the two sides with a total of five players being ejected from the game. Apart from Austin Rivers and Bo Mamba, Wolves’ Taurean Prince and Jaden McDaniels and Magic’s Jalen Suggs were the five to be ejected from the match.

It is to be noted that this is not the first time that the two got involved in a brawl. Five years ago, the two sides engaged in a similar scuffle when Arron Affalo and Nemanja Bjelica exchanged punches in 2018.
