Austria is hosting the ninth race of the F1 2023 season, and being the home of Red Bull, Austria GP draws a huge fan following. Fans from around the region come together to cheer for their favourite hero, and the sheer madness that fans show during the race is something every other team fan should take a note of. The Red Bull ultras, along with Verstappen fans are known for their ‘notorious’ behaviour, which ends up becoming a nightmare for the rivals. The rivals have time and again come under the guns of Red Bull army’s boos and banters, and one such incident took place with the Mercedes Principal, Toto Wolff.
The behaviour of the Red Bull fans is very well known in the F1 fraternity, and the Mercedes Chief was ready for something or the other to take place. Wolff, who is in Austria for the race on Sunday, got subjected to the home fans’ boos. However, being an Austrian himself, Wolff didn’t hold himself back and gave a perfect reply to the fans. During a promotional event, Wolff hit back at the fans and asked them, “Who is booing? Show me who is booing?” Later, pointing towards a Red Bull fan, the 51-year-old said, “You are booing. You should drink less beer.” This made the entire crowd go crazy, and they cheered the reply.

Meanwhile, Wolff didn’t stop there and took the final jibe at the fan by saying, “You are really not a nice-looking guy.” Needless to say, this epic and savage jibe by the Silver Arrows boss took the crowd by surprise, leading to huge cheer among them.
Speaking about the Sprint on Saturday, Mercedes ended up in a bad position following a shambolic performance. Both Mercedes’ drivers started beyond top 10, with George Russell starting from P15 and Lewis Hamilton starting from P18. However, the billionaire boss ended up criticising Verstappen, who ended up winning the Austrian GP Sprint, for his team’s bad performance.
