The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are hosting SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru in match 30 of IPL 2024. Earlier in the match, the RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss and invited the Pat Cummins-led side to bat first.
After putting in to score first, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave a quick start, but a combined effort from Reece Topley and Lockie Ferguson cut short Abhishek Sharma’s inning as he departed after scoring 34 runs. From there on, the 2023 World Cup winner took the charge scoring a crucial ton.
Head, who completed his half century off 20 deliveries, reached his century off 39 balls. The Aussie opener smashed a boundary off the fourth delivery off Vijaykumar Vyshak’s over to bring his hundred. Soon after his ton, he removed his helmet and balanced it on the handle to celebrate his knock, emulating Chris Gayle’s celebration.
