Aft er centuries in the World Test Championship 2023 final and the ODI World Cup 2023 final, Travis Head got out after a surprising golden duck in the final of the IPL 2024. Playing against Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad elected to bat first and instantly regretted their decision. Facing Mitchell Starc in the final, Abhishek Sharma took strike and struggled from the word go against the swinging ball.
Then on the fifth delivery of the first over, Starc produced a magical outswinger which castled the youngster. In the second over, Rahul Tripathi played the majority of the deliveries before taking a single in the penultimate ball to take a single.

Playing his first ball in the IPL 2024 final, Head was presented with an away swinging ball by Vaibhav Arora, which took a faint outside edge and went straight to the KKR keeper.
