With the NBA 2025-26 season still months away from start, Indian Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton was in attendance for the WWE SummerSlam on Monday morning. The Pacers point guard, who is recovering from an Achilles tear, which he sustained during the last season, was spotted walking with boot and crutches at the mega WWE event at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
While it was a good news for the Pacers’ fans as he was seen moving on a scooter less than two weeks ago, he was welcomed by a rough crowd at the WWE event. While his injury did not affect him as he was spotted at the SummerSlam alongside several stars.
Amidst this, Haliburton, who has led his side to beat the Big Apple franchise twice in back-to-back seasons, was met with heavy criticisms from Knicks fans. As the 25-year-old was being introduced, he embraced those criticisms and looked to cheer up the WWE competitors. Meanwhile, in a competing attitude, the American player was heard saying, “Yes. Yes. I love you too.”
