The recently concluded 25th match of Pakistan Super League was all about Md. Riwan-led Multan Sultans. Once again, the Multan franchise proved their dominance in the tournament by crushing Quetta Gladiators with a huge margin of 117-runs and continuing their ultimate supremacy in the 7th edition of the tournament.

While batting first, Sultans' batters were in full form. Opener Rizwan and Shan Masood laid a strong foundation for their team by adding 119-runs before Masood returned to the dugout after being given an LBW. The left-handed opener scored 57-runs off 38 balls, while his partner Rizwan remained not out and scored an unbeaten 83 off 54 balls. Post Shan's dismissal, Rile Rossouw took charge and scored a blistering 26-ball 71 to steer the Sultans score to 246.

In response, Quetta Gladiators could not impress with the bat as except opener Jason Roy (38 off 19) and veteran Umar Akmal (50 off 23), none of the batters could even cross the 20-run mark. Sultans' bowler showed their dominance in the 2nd innings of the game as David Willey provided an early breakthrough by dismissing Will Smeed (1 of 2) in the 2nd over of the match. Sultans' four bowlers -Asif Afridi, David Willey, Khushdil Shah, Shahnawaz Dahani- clinched two wickets each, while Imran Tahir had to settle with a single but crucial wicket of Umran Akmal.

However, amidst all this, there was a light moment that grabbed a lot of attention and surely tickled a lot of bones. The incident took place in the 14th over of the match when Shahnawaz Dahani bowled Noor Ahmad and, in delight, ran towards the boundary. But, what caught everyone's attention was the moment when umpire Aleem Dar tried to stop Dahani while trying to hold him. But, Dahani ran to Sir Viv Richards, who gave him the thumbs up on boundary. The moment provoked many PSL fans to share the video clip with some interesting captions.
