Real Madrid ran through Levante at the Santiago Bernabeu as they registered a 6-0 win. The Los Blancos started the fireworks with goals from Ferlon Mendy, Karim Benzema and Rodrygo in the first 35 minutes. Then, the stage was set for the Vinícius Júnior show, who smashed an incredible hattrick.

But the best moment from the hattrick was his celebration after the final goal. Vinícius pulled off the classic Cristiano Ronaldo ‘SIU’ celebration as a tribute to the former Madrid legend. The Brazilian winger has been on the top of his game throughout the season as Real Madrid has reached the final of the Champions League and won the La Liga.

“I'm just very, very happy,” Vinicius

After the game, the Brazilian talked about how he fulfilled the promise of scoring a hattrick to his coach. He said, “The coach asked me if I wanted to stay on, and I did for the chance to get a hat-trick. It's my first hat-trick and the teammates have helped me so much and I'm just very, very happy.”

He also talked about Karim Benzema’s goal that levels the goal total of another Real Madrid legend Raul. He said, “I didn't know he had equalled Raul's [goals total], he scores so many goals for us and does so many other things for the team. We have to think about the final and we have to be prepared for it”. “The last match of the season will be the best one”, he added.

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti also praised his two forwards for their performance as he said, “Vinicius and Benzema were fantastic tonight and have been throughout the season. It's reward for good teamwork. They have a great understanding, time has really helped them to click.”
