On Tuesday, March 19, a leaked video of Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis went viral, wherein both the RCB players were spotted pulling out chits from a bowl before conversing with each other. While Kohli and Faf seemingly played a chit game, they also wore brand new jerseys of the Royal Challengers Bangalore for the IPL 2024.
Virat Kohli, who wasn’t in the public eye for the last couple of months due to personal reasons, will be making his return to the sport in the RCB colours in the upcoming edition of the IPL. The 35-year-old took an indefinite break from cricket after playing in a T20I for India against Afghanistan on January 17, which led him to miss the entirety of the five-match Test series at home against England.
In the leaked video, shared on the X platform by the user (@wrongxvirat), Virat Kohli was having an indulging discussion with the current RCB captain Faf du Plessis. Although there wasn’t any audio of what they were talking about, the RCBians will be expecting them to do all the talking with the bat in the IPL 2024.

Virat Kohli, the former RCB captain, was caught on camera preparing for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Indian cricket superstar was sweating it out in the nets with the bat in hand, dancing down the pitch to play the lofted inside-out drive against the left-arm spinner Mayank Dagar.
On the next ball, he played a cross-batted stroke in the air against the spin towards the mid-wicket region on the bowling of the leg spinner Karn Sharma. It is well documented that the spin game of Virat Kohli in the middle overs lacks consistent boundary hitting, which he will be looking to improve on, in the IPL 2024.
