Shahrukh Khan-starrer Pathaan has not just engulfed the movie buffs but now it has its craze amongst the Indian cricketers. After Team India clinched an easy win over Australia in the first of the four match Test series, two of the most prominent names in the Indian cricket set up were seen grooving on one of the popular songs from the blockbuster movie.
Notably, Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma and R Ashwin produced match-winning effort in Nagpur Test as the trio took the hosts home in a series opener. Minutes after Men in Blues wrapped the first Test match on the back of a dominating performance from their spinners, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja were seen grooving over the popular track from the Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Pathaan, 'Jhoome jo Pathan'.

While Ravindra Jadeja made remarkable comeback in the international set-up with his all-round performance, Virat Kohli could not live up to the expectations. The legendary batter could only contribute with 12 runs in the first innings before he was dismissed by debutant Todd Murphy.
Talking about the match, Australian batters had a horrific show in Nagpur after they were left clueless by Indian bowlers. Ravindra Jadeja rattled the visitors in the first innings when he bagged five wickets in the game. He dismissed Marnus Labuschagne (49 off 123), Steven Smith (37 off 107), Matt Renshaw (0 off 1), Peter Handscomb (31 off 84) and Todd Murphy (0 off 5) to complete a fifer.
Veteran Indian off-spinner R Ashwin too picked three wickets in the first innings. Australians could only post 177 in the 1st innings, while Indian batters on the back of Rohit Sharma’s brilliant century, followed by spectacular knocks from Ravindra Jadeja (70) and Axar Patel (84) helped the side take a 223-run lead.
Team India clinched historic win by an innings and 132-runs after R Ashwin bagged five-fer in the second innings, while Md. Shami and Ravindra Jadeja too bagged two wickets, each. For his incredible all-round performance, Ravindra Jadea was adjudged Player of the Match. Both the teams will regroup for the second Test of the series when they will take on each other at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
