Team India took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan on Sunday, 14th January, registering a six-wicket win at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Inviting the Ibrahim Zadran-led side to bat first in the second match, the hosts bundled out the visitors for 172 in 20 overs.

While the run chase looked easy for the hosts as they comfortably took down the total in 15.4 overs, making a mockery of it. With yet another disappointing outing for skipper Rohit Sharma, who went for a duck, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube starred with the bat, crossing the 60-run mark respectively.
However, Jaiswal was dismissed by Gurbaz and Karim Janat, Shivman Dube’s all-round effort and 32-ball 63 runs helped the hosts to cross the line. While the winning runs came off a leg bye, the members of the Indian team dropped hilarious reaction s , video of which is now going viral.
In the viral video, which is also shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill were spotted laughing, following Dube’s carnage. Moreover, Gill’s reaction with his face covered with hands is also going viral on the internet.
The Men in Blue will now take on the Afghanistan side in the final T20I, set to be played on Wednesday, 17th January at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
